Long notes split and tie across barlines automatically. Bars are added as you type. A MIDI keyboard, if plugged in, enters notes directly.
Turn on Handwrite and draw on the staff (Apple Pencil or mouse):

Select any note, then: 𝄆 𝄇 repeat bars, 1.2. endings, +bar/−bar, key/time/tempo selectors ask whether to apply from that bar. pickup makes an upbeat bar. Playback follows repeats, endings, tempo changes — and can swing.
🌈 color-coded noteheads (Boomwhacker colors) · ABC letter names on notes · ◐ dark sheet · 🔊 speaks every selected note aloud. Every control is screen-reader labelled; the whole app works keyboard-only.
Articulations (staccato · accent · tenuto · marcato · sfz) and dynamics ppp–fff all play back.
